Website terms.
Last updated: 29 May 2026.
1. About these terms
These terms cover the use of the chadproperty.com.au website (the “website”). The website is operated by CHAD Property Pty Ltd (ABN 88 673 892 718). We refer to ourselves in these terms as “CHAD”, “we”, “us”, or “our”. You are “you” or “your”.
These terms do not cover the buyer's-agent engagement contract between CHAD and a client. Those terms are issued separately at engagement.
2. Acceptance
By browsing or using the website, you agree to these terms as they apply to website use. These website terms do not create a client relationship and do not commit you to engaging CHAD (see section 5). If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website.
3. Using the website
You may use the website to read our content, fill in the introduction, and contact us in good faith. You may not use the website to:
- copy, reproduce, or republish our content for commercial purposes without our written permission
- run automated scraping, crawling, or data extraction against the website beyond what standard search engines and reasonable accessibility tools do
- attempt to access non-public parts of the website
- submit false information through the introduction
- use the website to send spam, malware, or other harmful content
- use the website in a way that breaches Australian law
4. Our intellectual property
The content on chadproperty.com.au, including the written copy, the brand mark, the typography choices, the photography, and the structure of the pages, is owned by CHAD Property Pty Ltd or used under licence.
You may share links to our content. You may quote short passages with attribution. You may not copy substantial portions of our content, republish it as your own, or use it for text and data mining, machine-learning training, or any other automated processing, without our written permission. Our content is protected by copyright under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth).

5. The introduction does not create a client relationship
Filling in the introduction on this website is an enquiry. It does not, by itself, create a client relationship between you and CHAD.
A client relationship begins only when you and CHAD sign a written buyer's-agent agreement that sets out the scope of work, the fee, and the obligations on both sides. Until that agreement is signed, no contractual obligation exists between us, and any information provided through the website or in pre-engagement conversations is exchanged for the purpose of mutual fit-checking only.
We are under no obligation to take on every prospect who fills in the introduction. We may decline an engagement at our discretion and will tell you why where we reasonably can.
6. General information, not personal advice
The content on this website is general information about property investment and the buyer's-agent service we provide. It is not personal financial, taxation, credit, or legal advice. It does not take into account your individual circumstances, objectives, or financial situation.
Before making any property investment decision, you should:
- obtain your own independent professional advice from a qualified financial planner, accountant, mortgage broker, conveyancer, or lawyer as relevant to your circumstances
- consider whether the information is appropriate to your needs and your situation
- confirm any superannuation, borrowing, or taxation question with the appropriate licensed professional before you act
Where we discuss self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) property purchases on this website or with you in conversation, we are not providing financial product advice and we are not licensed to do so. We do not advise on whether an SMSF is right for you, on the SMSF structure, on borrowing arrangements such as a limited recourse borrowing arrangement, or on any superannuation or credit product. That advice sits with your accountant, your licensed financial planner, and your mortgage broker or credit provider. Our scope is the property side of the purchase, coordinated with the right professionals around you.
7. No guarantee of future results
Property markets move. Past results, including any specific case-study figures shared on this website, are not a guarantee of future results. Every property purchase carries risk, including the risk of capital loss, holding-cost shortfall, vacancy, and unexpected repair or compliance costs.
Case-study figures shared on this website are drawn from real client portfolios and recorded in our internal data. They reflect outcomes for those specific clients at those specific times. Your outcome will be different.
8. Our credentials and licensing
Dan Kwek holds a Certified Practising Valuer (CPV) qualification.
CHAD operates as a licensed buyer's agent in jurisdictions where licensing is required to transact. The licensed entity name and the relevant licence numbers are held internally, available on request, and disclosed at engagement.
The CPV qualification means Dan is a qualified valuer. It does not make CHAD a mortgage valuer for the purposes of lender finance. When you obtain finance for a property purchase, your lender will arrange its own mortgage valuation, which is a separate process from CHAD's buyer-side analysis of value.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website is limited, at our option, to either the resupply of the relevant service or the cost of having that service resupplied, or, where that limitation is not permitted by law, to one hundred dollars. This limit applies only to the extent the relevant right or remedy can lawfully be limited.
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any guarantee, right, or remedy that you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
CHAD is not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or incidental loss arising from the use of this website, except where such liability cannot be excluded under Australian law.
10. External links
The website includes links to external websites, including the Destiny Rescue website (destinyrescue.org) and may include links to other third parties (for example, suppliers or partners whose work supports the buyer's-agent service).
Links to external sites are provided for your convenience and do not constitute an endorsement of every aspect of the linked content. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, privacy practices, or terms of use of any external website.
11. Privacy
Our handling of personal information you provide through this website is governed by our privacy policy, available at chadproperty.com.au/privacy.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and CHAD submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the courts competent to hear appeals from them.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in our website, our services, or the law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will show the date of the most recent version. Where a change is significant, we will take reasonable steps to make it clear on the website. The terms that apply to your use of the website are the terms published at the time you use it. If you do not agree with an updated version, please stop using the website.
14. Website availability
We aim to keep the website available, accurate, and current, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or up to date at all times. Nothing in this section limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
15. General
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that part is severed and the rest of the terms continue to apply. If we do not enforce a right under these terms on one occasion, that does not waive our right to enforce it later.
16. Contact us about these terms
If you have questions about these terms, contact us through the introduction form on this website at chadproperty.com.au/contact. Please write “Terms enquiry” in the goals and situation field so we can route your message correctly.
